This 7-week seminar will supplement a four-day visit to NYC where students will meet with media professionals from Primary Wave, Este Lauder, NBCUniversal, and Major League Soccer, to name a few. The purpose of the class is to introduce students to alumni working in the field, learn about their role in the changing media landscapes, and prepare for opportunities with a dynamic ePortfolio, resume and interview skills. The course will cover relevant background information about each company prior to the trip and will include Zoom meetings with other media firms as well.
