The expanded design thesis is designed for undergraduate students who wish to pursue a yearlong investigation. The expanded thesis must include substantial research and the completed work should be of wider scope and greater depth than is normal for a one-semester thesis. The thesis topic should extend the student's work already begun in a course or a sequence of courses taken before the fifth year.

When Offered Fall, Spring.

Permission Note  Open to: students who carry a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.7 and minimum studio GPA of 3.8.
Prerequisites/Corequisites Prerequisite: ARCH 4102 and approval of expanded thesis application.

Course Attribute (CU-UGR)
Satisfies Requirement Will satisfy the ARCH 5101 requirement for B.Arch. candidates, who must satisfactorily complete a thesis.

Comments This is part of a multi-course sequence and will receive an "R" grade (in progress).
