Course Description
Course information provided by the Courses of Study 2023-2024. Courses of Study 2024-2025 is scheduled to publish mid-June.
Try paddling standing up! We are excited to show you how much fun you can have on stand up paddleboards. Experience Cayuga Lake from a new vantage point. Stay active and engage your whole body. Learn something fun in a small group setting. Our instructors will teach you all the basics including: stance, paddling technique, turning, and more.
When Offered Fall, Spring.
Fees Course fee: $255 for instruction/travel.
Satisfies Requirement Satisfies one PE requirement if taken as PE.

Instruction Mode: In Person
Course Fee: $255. All paddling equipment is included in course fee. Prerequisite: Recreational swimmer. The first class meeting will be held on campus in front of Bartels Hall. Other classes will first meet at Bartels Hall and then travel to Cayuga Lake. Transportation is provided to classes off campus.
Drop Deadline: Monday, August 26, 2024. Students will be responsible for the course fee and assessed a $50 late drop fee if they do not drop by the deadline.
