Biomedical Engineering Analysis of Metabolic and Structural Systems

Course information provided by the Courses of Study 2023-2024. Courses of Study 2024-2025 is scheduled to publish mid-June.

This course focuses on applying techniques of engineering analysis to quantify function of human physiologic systems. Topics of study include the cardiovascular, respiratory, musculoskeletal, and renal systems. Emphasis will be placed on relating tissue structure to organ function on micro-and macroscales.

Prerequisites/Corequisites Prerequisite: ENGRD 2020, BIOMG 1350 or BME 2010 or BIOG 1440 or permission of instuctor required.
