In this course, you will learn the fundamentals of grammar, reading, speaking, and comprehension of the spoken language. You will gain intensive practice in listening, speaking, reading, and writing basic Dutch in meaningful, everyday contexts. Through the language you will get acquainted with the country, its society and its people. During the spring term, supplementary reading is selected according to individual needs. At the end of the course, you will be able to understand basic Dutch and make yourself understood in everyday situations.
