Introduction to Archery

Course information provided by the Courses of Study 2022-2023.

Archery has a long tradition across the world and is a noble Olympic Sport. This class offers exposure to archery and includes instruction in shot technique; safe range practices; proper equipment handling; practice shooting inside gymnasium in controlled environment. Class meets twice a week. Attendance for first two classes is mandatory for safety reasons. If these classes are missed, the student can no longer continue to attend and will be responsible for for dropping themselves from the course.

    Course Fee: $155; Last day to add: Mon 8/29. Last day to drop : Fri. 9/2. Students will be responsible for the course fee if they do not drop the course by the drop deadline. Please note: Graduate students will not be allowed to register for this course until the beginning of the add/drop period in the fall. Attendance for the first two classes is mandatory for safety reasons! If either or both of these classes are missed, the student may no longer continue to attend. The student must drop the course.
