The course is divided into 2 parts: Discourses and Applications. Discourses, which will excavate the history and future of sustainability across the domains of economics, culture, sciences, and technology through readings and other media.  Applications, which will examine trajectories within environmental design disciplines emphasizing how discourses have become codified into practices.
