Course Description
Course information provided by the Courses of Study 2021-2022.
Affords opportunities for students to carry out independent research under appropriate supervision. Each student is expected to review pertinent literature, prepare a project outline, conduct the research, and prepare a report.
When Offered Fall, Spring.
Permission Note Enrollment limited to: juniors or seniors. Not open to: students who have earned 6 or more undergraduate research credits elsewhere in the college.
Prerequisites/Corequisites Prerequisite: GPA of at least 2.7.

Instruction Mode: Directed Research
Prerequisite: GPA of at least 2.7. Enrollment limited to: juniors or seniors. Not open to students who have earned 6 or more undergraduate research credits elsewhere in the college. Students from all Colleges must submit a CALS Special Studies Form (Available online: http://cals.cornell.edu/academics/registrar/policies/#independent-study). Do not sign into section 601. You will be put in the course after submitting form online.
