Instruction and practice in the use of a small bore target rifle. The course includes 3 position small bore .22 cal. (prone, standing and kneeling) target shooting. Class meets once a week and transportation is provided.

Permission Note New York State Law requires that all participants MUST be United States citizens or currently registered Cornell University students to take shooting classes.

Last day to drop: Fri. 9/11; New York State Law requires that all participants MUST be United States citizens or currently registered Cornell University students to take shooting classes. Please note: Graduate students will not be allowed to register for this course until the beginning of the add/drop period in the fall. Attendance for the first two classes is mandatory for safety reasons! If either or both of these classes are missed, the student may no longer continue to attend. The student must go to the Physical Education office and drop from the course. The students will be responsible for the full course fee. For more information, please see: www.pe.cornell.edu. Many changes have been made for COVID reasons. The fIrst class will meet in the NROTC blockhouse in Barton Hall.
