Open Water Scuba

Course information provided by the 2020-2021 Catalog.

Program includes classroom work, skill training in the pool, and open-water training in Cayuga Lake in the summer and fall. Spring classes will be referral only (no open water dives). P.A.D.I. open-water certification awarded upon successful completion of summer and fall classes. Please carefully read the additional information on the PE website for particulars.

    Course Fee: $410. Last day to add: Thur, 9/10. Last day to drop: Fri. 9/11; Students who drop the course after the drop date will be charged a late drop fee and held responsible for the course fee. Please note: Due to Covid concerns, This will be a referral course only, such as we run in the spring semester. Open water dives will need to be done elsewhere to finish certification. Students will have up to 1 year to complete their open water dives. Pool dates for each section are listed in each lab section. For more information, please see: www.pe.cornell.edu.
