Clinic students contribute to efforts to address gender-based violence and discrimination by representing people in a variety of legal matters and undertaking advocacy projects in collaboration with community partners. Students will gain experience in legal advocacy on gender justice issues and develop lawyering and leadership skills. Students will participate in regular weekly team meetings and attend occasional seminars of the full Gender Justice Clinic. Students who wish to enroll in the Clinic should pre-register and contact Prof. Brundige (elizabeth.brundige@cornell.edu) to discuss their participation by the end of the pre-registration period. Supplementary application materials are not required. Please also contact Prof. Brundige if you have any questions about the course.
