Two complementary learning tasks help the student integrate theory with practice: 1) information-gathering for individual career decision-making based on self-assessment activities, and 2) comprehension of organizational circumstances and practices encountered as careers develop. Very useful if you are interested in learning key influence factors in personal career choice (your own/others), and/or what underlies organizational approaches in creating career management systems for employees (HR-related).
