Course Description
Course information provided by the Courses of Study 2019-2020.
This hands-on, skill-building graduate-level course for Project Management. The focus is on how to best manage public sector projects including those managed by government agencies, nonprofits, consulting firms, and think tanks. The class will focus on how to effectively build and manage project budgets and timelines in addition to soft skills such as leadership, critical thinking, and conflict resolution.
When Offered Fall.
Prerequisites/Corequisites Prerequisite/Corequisite: CIPA students who did not pass the English Language Assessment offered by CIPA during orientation are required to take PADM 5051, PADM 5053, or PADM 5053. CIPA students may also co-enroll in these courses while enrolled in this course.

Outcomes- Students will demonstrate how to plan, schedule, manage, and control projects including timelines, budgets, and all aspects of project implementation.
