  Course Description
Course information provided by the 2019-2020 Catalog.
Experiential learning course in which students participate in eitber a faculty or industry led, semester-long, team research project. Teams of three or four students research a topic, define research questions, design and conduct original research to answer the questions, and analyze their data. Group presentations and a final journal style paper required. In addition to developing research skills, students practice and develop communication/team skills, presentation skills, and technical writing skills.
Permission Note Enrollment limited to: senior standing in MSE.
When Offered Fall.
Regular Academic Session. Choose one discussion and one laboratory. Combined with: MSE 4050
