  Course Description
Course information provided by the 2019-2020 Catalog.
In this workshop style course, students will work in teams to complete a semester long project. Students will gain practical experience applying the design and coding principles introduced in INFO 1300 and INFO 2300 as well as human-computer interactions methods from INFO 3450. From the project, students will experience the entire process of taking an idea and turning that idea into a working web app. Students will conduct user research, design a user interface, build a working prototype, and conduct user testing for their project. The course will have a significant software development focus, exposing students to software development methods and tools, like event-based programming, Git work-flows, basic command line usage, and debugging.
