Course information provided by the Courses of Study 2018-2019.

Chakra is translated as "wheel or disc" in Sanskrit.  According to the ancient yogis, chakras are subtle energy centers or wheels of energy within the human body.  Through these energy centers we receive and process information that can influence how we participate and interact in the world.  When our chakras are in balance, we feel more balanced in our lives.  This course outlines and explores the 7 main energy centers, from our grounding roots to the crown of our heads, and it will offer ways to engage the corresponding life themes through yoga & meditation.  The yoga movement practices will be in the vinyasa flow style. Some knowledge and experience with yoga can be helpful. All levels welcome.
