Course information provided by the Courses of Study 2018-2019.

The aim of this course is to help you further develop as a leader and prepare you to embark on a meaningful career. The course is introspective (in that you will reflect on your values, strengths, and motivations), future-oriented (in that you will think about your life goals and what you hope to contribute), and practical (in that you will learn tools and frameworks to help you uphold your own values, motivate and inspire others, develop strong organizational cultures, and implement organizational change). You will think through what matters most to you in your life and learn ways to make your work (and that of your future employees) more meaningful, which can lead to higher performance. Through cases, lectures, in-class exercises, and a variety of assignments, you will integrate your values and strengths with evidence-based management theories to progress toward becoming a more influential, effective, and ethical leader.
