Course Description
Course information provided by the Courses of Study 2018-2019.
Earth's environmental history is recorded in sedimentary rocks, but can only be deciphered if geological time relations are correctly recognized. Course covers approaches to the study of ages of, and genetic relations among, sedimentary rocks. Focus is on physical stratigraphy, completeness, and chronology with secondary attention to chemical stratigraphy and biostratigraphy.
