This course teaches the basic skills necessary to sail and crew large boats safely and competitively. 23-26 foot sailboats will be used to teach this course. The USYRU Rules book will be the text for the course. Class times are 4 hours per session. 6 Sessions and 1 regatta required for Physical Education credit.

  • Course Fee: $310. Last day to add: Tues 8/29. Last day to drop: Tues 8/29; Students must be able to swim. Attendance for the first two classes is mandatory for safety reasons! If these classes are missed, the student can no longer continue to attend, and will be dropped from the course. Dropped students will be responsible for the full course fee.
