This informal, in-home seminar considers issues relating to women in the modern practice of law, including such topics as work-life balance; happiness and mental health in practice; families and children, including "mommy-tracking" of women attorneys; the promotion-to-partner tournament and other issues specific to big law firms, including how women fare in the tournament; "opting out"; discrimination and the pay gap; gender stereotypes in the workplace; the law school experience for women and men; "intersectionality" issues for people of color, LGBTQ people, people with disabilities, and others.
