Course Description
Course information provided by the Courses of Study 2017-2018.
This class provides an introduction to modern rapid prototyping techniques such as laser cutting, 3D printing and microcontroller programming (such as the Arduino system). Using these tools, small multidisciplinary groups conduct the hardware project of their choice exploring topics as varied as: Universal Access, tangible interfaces, toys, personal or medical assistants and new musical instruments.
When Offered Fall.
Fees Course fee: $300.
Prerequisites/Corequisites Prerequisite: INFO 2300.
Regular Academic Session. Choose one lecture and one discussion.

Prerequisites: INFO 2300 or equivalent or permission of instructor. Materials fee: $300. A link for enrollment application will be posted prior to the regular enrollment period. Applications will be reviewed during regular enrollment period when most applications are in to give people a fair chance for a spot based on their application rather than on the order of signup.
