Course Description
Course information provided by the Courses of Study 2017-2018.
Team-taught survey course in reproductive physiology/endocrinology. Lectures on male reproductive function, female reproductive function, fertilization and gamete transport, pregnancy, parturition, lactation, aging, reproductive technology.
When Offered Fall.
Permission Note Enrollment limited to: 20 students.
Prerequisites/Corequisites Prerequisite: undergraduate degree in biology and strong interest in reproductive biology.
Outcomes
- Students will gain a broad working knowledge of the basics of male and female reproduction in terms of structure, function, and regulation.
- Students will gain an ability to apply that knowledge to the student's own research.
