Covers non relativistic quantum physics at the graduate level, focusing on fundamental conceptual issues and methods. Topics include: review of the fundamental concepts of quantum mechanics, theory of angular momentum and spin using group theory of SO(3) and SU(2) representations, path integrals, gauge invariance and charge conservation, identical particles, fermions, bosons, approximation methods (including perturbation theory, WKB and instantons), scattering theory and entanglement. A knowledge of the subject at the level of PHYS 4443 is assumed.  Text is at the level of Sakurai.
