Course Description

This seminar focuses on children, the nature of children's intuitive theories of the physical, biological, psychological and social world, and how these concepts change over time. Readings introduce different theoretical perspectives and empirical approaches to topics such as origins of concepts, relationship between concepts and language, and theories of conceptual change.

Prerequisites/Corequisites Prerequisite: HD 2300 recommended. Intro PSYCH or HD and one upper level course in Cognitive Development.
