This course provides an in-depth analysis of the concepts that are most often encountered in the market for fixed income securities. The goals of the course are threefold: (1) to develop the set of tools required to evaluate virtually any fixed income instrument; (2) to illustrate the mechanics and intuition of hedging and other trading and portfoloi strategies; and (3) to explore the key features of both traditional and derivative fixed income instruments.
