Course Description
Course information provided by the Courses of Study 2014-2015.
This interactive course is designed to guide students in understanding their approaches to learning, and how to work on these approaches in order to maximize their success in health-related academic courses.
When Offered Fall.
Permission Note Enrollment limited to: Students in the DNS post-baccalaureate program. If offered in summer, the course is then open to rising juniors and seniors.
Outcomes
- Develop effective written communication skills that will enable a clear, strong and self-reflective personal statement to be written.
- Develop effective oral communication skills that will enable a confident and self-assured interviewing demeanor.
- Construct and evaluate effective approaches in leadership, team-building and conflict resolution.
