Course Description
Course information provided by the Courses of Study 2014-2015.
Emphasizes the feasibility, development, design, management, operation and marketing of day, hotel/resort and destination spas and fitness centers. Consulting for entrepreneurs, hospitality executives and entrepreneurs is required. Design of mental and physical fitness programs, stress management, complementary medical treatments, and preventive lifestyle behaviors are considered. Required personnel, safety, legal, financial, efficiency and ethical issues are studied.
When Offered Fall.
Fees Cost of two required field trips: approx. $150.
Permission Note Enrollment limited to: SHA seniors and graduate students; others may enroll, space permitting.
