Course Description
Course information provided by the Courses of Study 2014-2015.
This course is intended for creative writers who have completed ENGL 3840 or ENGL 3850 and wish to refine their poetry writing. It may include significant reading and discussion of readings, advanced explorations of form and technique, completion of writing assignments and prompts, and peer review of student work. In addition to the instructor's assigned writing requirements, students may work on longer-form verse writing projects.

Permission Note Enrollment limited to: 15 students.
Prerequisites/Corequisites Prerequisites: prior completion of a section of ENGL 3840 or ENGL 3850 is strongly recommended.
Forbidden Overlaps Students may take ENGL 4800 and ENGL 4810 more than once.
Distribution Category (LA-AS)
Satisfies Requirement ENGL 4800 or ENGL 4810 counts toward the English major, and is required for the Creative Writing minor.
Comments ENGL 4800 and ENGL 4810 are the same course, the former offered in fall, the latter in spring.
