Independent Research

Permits outstanding students to conduct laboratory or field research in communication under appropriate faculty supervision. The research should be scientific: systematic, controlled, empirical. Research goals should include description, prediction, explanation, or policy orientation and should generate new knowledge.

When Offered Fall or spring.

Permission Note Enrollment limited to: sophomores, juniors and seniors with a 3.0 GPA.

Comments Students must register using CALS Special Studies form available online.  Maximum of 3 credits can be applied to major requirements.

You will be put in the course after submitting form online.
