Prerequisite: ARCH 5301-ARCH 5302 or permission of instructor. Elective courses will be available during add/drop beginning in August. Those interested in participating in the seminar should submit a 2 page statement describing their interest in and qualification for the seminar. This should include their knowledge, experience or interest in contemporary urbanism, globalization and SE Asia, and any relevant background (ethnography, film studies, urban studies, anthropology, history, environmental studies, development sociology, planning, geography, architecture, landscape architecture etc) or skills (mapping, GIS, photography, video etc). No letters of recommendation are required. Applications must be submitted electronically to Mary Ahl (mea4@cornell.edu) at the Society for the Humanities by May 7.
